My name is Michael David Liss and Consensio is my Marketing Services practice. Consensio is a Latin word which means harmony. I like that connotation. It conjures up the image of a group of people combining their voices to embellish and enhance a theme. One dictionary definition of harmony is: the quality of forming a pleasing and consistent whole. I try to embody that goal of harmony in all of my work.
Why do certain companies or products win in the marketplace and others do not? I have been fascinated by this question for many years. Clearly, it is not the quality of the product alone that makes the difference most of the time. In fact there are numerous examples of inferior products dominating their market segments. There must be something else at play here.
I have found that a clear articulation of the Brand, coupled with a real engagement with the target market are two of the differentiating features of successful businesses and products. Knowing who you are and what you stand for, clearly articulating that passion and engaging your target customer in a meaningful way are how your business will improve its chances of success. This is my passion: helping my clients find their true voice and a way to engage their customers in a compelling way.
